Hailey Prince began dancing at an early age, with dance schools 'Starlight Dance Co' (principle Miss Laura Swabe), Bladewelle school of dance (principle Vilna Wealthall) and Jo Heynes School of Dance (principle Jo Heynes).

In her final school, she determined it was time to start working towards a place in a full time dance college, so after achieving 11 G.C.S.Es, she applied and was awarded places in Elmhurst Ballet School, Laines Theatre Arts, Stella Mann, London Studio Centres and after careful consideration, she accepted the place from Elmhurst.

Hailey was accepted into Elmhurst Ballet School with a full three-year scholarship onto the classical and contemporary course. During her time at Elmhurst , Hailey was privileged to work with their professional teachers, especially influenced by Heather Fish, Alfreada Thorogood, her contemporary teacher Andre Devilliers and her singing teacher Jon Laird. She performed many works by famous and exciting choreographers such as Jiri Kyllian, Patrick Lewis and Paul Maddon and was given the opportunity to work with the MOBO awards backing dancing for Chakakhan. She was also given the opportunity to take her Associate exams in ISTD ballet and Modern, passing both with high marks as well as 1 A-level and 3 AS levels. Her final qualifications from Elmhurst amounted to a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Classical and Contemporary dance.

Upon leaving Elmhurst , Hailey has worked in many areas of professional theatre, including a contemporary soloist for Ballet Soul, various modelling and promotional jobs, backing singing for '96 Eyes' and a master class for Bournemouth Ballet.

Her debut choreographic production of 'Secret of the Seasons' performed by Bournemouth Ballet club (a similar organisation to Berkshire Youth Ballet) was highly successful. With a cast of 70 young dancers ranging from 7 to 19, she put on a superb and professional looking production as well as taking the role of artistic director, designing exciting sets and beautiful costumes.

The choreography achieved a fantastic review in the Dorset echo (scroll down for the review), as did the ability, performance and passion of all the dancers and singers.

Hailey has been invited back to Bournemouth Ballet for future master classes.

After having experienced working with so many talented, enthusiastic dancers in Bournemouth Ballet, Hailey now would like to use what she achieved in Berkshire and give the same opportunity to the young dance community where she now lives.
